Rio de Janeiro hosted the first sports betting and online gaming event since the sector was regulated in Brazil. The SBC Summit Rio brought together around 15,000 people, serving as an ideal platform for the announcement of new developments.
Vpag has formally introduced Flamengo star Giorgian de Arrascaeta as its new ambassador. Rodrigo Alves (Eightroom) praised this new partnership, highlighting the values that the player has represented throughout his successful football career.
“We have been eagerly awaiting the regulation, so being here to experience all of this is fantastic. And today, more than ever, with the presence of the new Vpag ambassador. Giorgian brings the values that we respect a lot, such as commitment and professionalism. Having him is a great joy,” he said.
The Flamengo athlete was very excited about this new role. “I’m very happy to be here and share this moment with them. Starting my first experience as a Vpag ambassador. I’m very happy with everything that’s happening and what’s to come,” he said.
When asked about the challenges on the field, Arrascaeta stated that the red-black group is focused on the decisive phase of the Campeonato Carioca. “Another challenge to demonstrate the strength of our group. We are preparing ourselves in the best way possible,” he stated.
With Arrascaeta, Flamengo faces Vasco in the second leg of the Carioca semi-final, next Saturday, at 5:45 pm, at Maracanã.

In addition to the announcement of the new ambassador, Rodrigo Alves highlighted that the Eightroom Vpag group works to resolve frictions in the regulated market in a 100% compliance manner.
“To achieve this, we rely on both our affiliate marketing department and our payment department, Vpag. Vpag seeks to resolve these frictions through a favorable user experience and bring high-value users to the operator, working very well on acquisition and retention. All of this is 100% compliant, a priority of ours,” he concluded.
