The day of the end is always different. It was with this premise that 7K, a betting company and official sponsor of the competition, carried out an unprecedented action by opening an exclusive betting market for the classic, Corinthians x Palmeiras, final of Paulistão 2025.
The initiative went beyond the “classics” of sports betting: who will score the goal or the score of the game, and allowed bettors to predict which athlete would be elected the 7K Player of the Game. The trophy that is awarded by the company to the standout player in all Paulistão matches.
Yesterday, the chosen one was Corinthians goalkeeper Hugo Souza, who saved a penalty at the end of the second half. Corinthians were crowned champions after drawing 0-0 with Palmeiras at Neo Química Arena, home of Corinthians.
“Our goal is to always be innovating, combining entertainment, audience engagement and brand strengthening. With this, we seek to consolidate our presence as an official sponsor of Paulistão and further strengthen the connection with fans”, explained Talita Lacerda, Executive Director of Operations at Ana Gaming, the group that owns 7K.
Action rules are highlighted
It is worth noting that the new feature had some rules. One of them was that if the chosen player did not enter the field, the bet would be void. Also, players who participated in the match as substitutes, including in possible extra time, were equally eligible. In addition, the maximum winnings per bettor were R$100.
The Game Star trophy was an award given by 7K to the best athlete in each match of the competition. The popular vote was carried out by the official Paulistão profile on Instagram.
Corinthians and Palmeiras faced each other in the Paulistão 2025 final on the night of last Thursday (27), at 9:30 pm (Brasília time), at Neo Química Arena.
The match ended in a 0-0 draw. However, Corinthians won the title after winning the first leg of the final at the Allianz Arena, home of Palmeiras. On aggregate, the final ended Corinthians 1 x 0 Palmeiras.
