Last Wednesday (9), the SiGMA Poker Tour (SPT) started its first edition in Brazil at the Monte Carlo Poker Club, in São Paulo, taking advantage of the 2025 edition of BiS SiGMA Americas.
The poker event, which will run until April 14, is bringing together players in high-level competitions, with a guaranteed prize pool of €250,000. In addition, it offers exclusive experiences, such as VIP tournaments and accommodation at the Hilton Morumbi.
During the SPT, the first edition of the Hendon Mob Latam Championships (THMC Latam) also takes place.
Roland Boothby, Head of Partnerships at GPI/The Hendon Mob, highlighted the importance of the initiative: “The entire team at Global Poker Index and The Hendon Mob are excited to be entering the Latin American market for the first time, together with the SiGMA Poker Tour.”
Boothby also reinforced the expectation of growth in Brazil: “We couldn’t be more excited to kick off the inaugural Hendon Mob Latam Championship in São Paulo!”

The Monte Carlo Poker Club welcomed participants with premium facilities and a competitive atmosphere last night. In addition to the tournaments, players had access to:

- MMA nights organized by Centurion Fighting Championship.
- Exclusive dinners and networking opportunities.
An online satellite selected players for Day 1 of the Main Event. With intense hands and risky strategies, participants sought a spot in the fight for the top prize.

Still as part of the official BiS SiGMA Americas agenda, the Centurion Fighting Championship (CFC) promoted a night of remarkable fights at the Monte Carlo Poker Club.
The fights, also held on Wednesday night, stood out for the intensity and technique of the athletes, with rounds full of strategy and physical explosion.
Willian Lima was crowned the new CFC champion after a dominant performance. His victory was celebrated by the public and event organizers, who praised the determination and tenacity of all the fighters.
