In an exclusive interview with the iGaming Brazil portal, Rodrigo Cambiaghi, director of Sportradar, commented on the growth of BiS SiGMA Americas and the company’s partnership with the sportsbook Aposta Ganha.
Asked about how the fair was going for Sportradar, being the first edition after the regulation, Cambiaghi stated: “Look, I was remembering here, the first BiS I went to, which was in a super ‘tiny’ space. And, besides that, our stand was very small, even so, it was super crowded with several customers there.”
“Today, it’s really cool for me to see a fair that was very small and had limited space, grow and now be able to serve all customers in a larger space.”
Partnership with Aposta Ganha
The director of Sportradar also detailed the agreement reached with Aposta Ganha, a company duly licensed by the Secretariat of Prizes and Bets (SPA).
“Aposta Ganha is a very cool case and it is a very special client for us, because it is a client that we acquired from scratch. It is not a company that came with a multimillion-dollar investment, nor from a foreign fund.”
“They are a 100% Brazilian company, with their own investments, and they have brought a brand where we have believed in them from the beginning. They already have their own platform and have already understood the Brazilian market,” he added.
Still on the betting market, he added: “The main bets today, which are in Brazil, which are in the spotlight, especially those in the sportsbook sector, they have their own product. This ends up being a particularity of the Brazilian market, something we don’t see much in other markets.”
Sportradar’s growth in Brazil and potential new customers
When asked about a potential partnership or growth expectations in Brazil, Cambiaghi answered: “Sportradar is a global brand. We take on brands that are already strong abroad and want to grow here in Brazil and we can work in this way, as well as brands that are just starting out and were waiting for the market to be regulated.”
