iGB L!VE was a pleasant surprise for Pay4Fun. The company’s CEO, Leonardo Baptista, revealed that he was surprised at his first participation in the event.
“Our first time at the event. We had the impression that iGB was a fair much more focused on affiliates, but in fact, it is not. The fair is fantastic, it’s a mini ICE”, he stated.
Regulation
Baptista highlighted that the regulation of the Brazilian market is the topic of the moment. “The ordinance on payment methods, systems and prevention of money laundering, nothing new.”
“As we have already been regulated by the Central Bank for two years, the ordinances came very much in line with BACEN. They in no way decided to clash with the main regulator”, he added.
According to Baptista, the systems ordinance brought something very important. “They included the topic of business continuity. So, operators are having to introduce two or three payment methods. Everyone is waiting for August 20th, the deadline for people to apply”, he declared.

Asked about Pay4Fun’s news for the market, Leonardo Baptista mentioned a migration tool.
“Pay4Fun came with good news for operators, a migration tool from the ‘.com’ base to the ‘bet.br’ base. I think this is what is keeping operators up at night, who are afraid of having to start everything from scratch”, he concluded.
