Casino and gambling operator Codere is the newest sponsor of the Monterrey Rayados football club in Mexico. The commercial arrangement will allow the brand to remain on the football team’s jersey until 2025.
In this way, the company continues its strategy of internationalizing the brand not only by gaining more visibility through the space in the uniform, as well as by carrying out numerous promotional campaigns together with the Mexican team.
“This agreement represents an important commitment by the company to this strategic market and also to boost our game offer at the local level,” said Codere representative Carlos Sabanza.
For the company, Mexico is a market of vital importance for its growth in the short, medium and long term. That’s because the country already accounted for 22% of the group’s world income at the end of 2019.

Rayados executive vice president, Pedro Esquivel, also spoke. “It is a pleasure for the club to start a relationship with an international brand like Codere, which will help us to continue to consolidate our growth and achieve our goals”.
Esquivel added: “We believe in long-term alliances with business partners who share our values and goals. For that, we thank Codere for his confidence and are sure that great things are to come ”.
Alberto Telias, Codere’s marketing director, also commented on the brand’s new association in the sports world. “The agreement with Rayados de Monterrey is an extremely stimulating project. We believe we have common values, which we want to explore together ”.
According to Telias, “the partnership with a team as victorious as Rayados, after a period of pandemic with a great impact on the game – not only due to the closing of the game rooms, but also by the postponement of sports competitions worldwide – is confirmation strong proposal that Codere has for Mexican players ”.
