Vaunt Inc, a sports and entertainment intellectual property development brand, signed a three-year agreement with the International Basketball Federation (Fiba). This partnership facilitated the realization of the Fiba 3 × 3 AmeriCup in Miami, Florida.
In addition, Vaunt has also managed to secure media rights and sports betting exclusively for basketball competition. This will be the first edition of the championship to be promoted in Miami.
The main 3 x 3 basketball teams in South, Central and North America will have the possibility to compete for the continental title between the 12th, 13th and 14th of November 2021. Recalling that the sport modality becomes part of the schedule of the Games Olympics from this year in Tokyo.

“I became part of the Fiba family in 2001 through my experience playing basketball in the USA. Now, as a co-founder of Vaunt, whose goal is to align opportunities in the areas of sport, technology, content and competition, my basketball journey has registered a complete cycle with this innovative partnership ”, said Vaunt CEO Roger Mason Jr.
The company’s CEO further commented, “As a former Miami Heat player, I am excited to bring AmeriCup to Miami and the impact we will have in the years to come.”
Carlos Alves, Fiba’s executive director for the Americas, also spoke about the trade agreement. “FIBA 3 × 3 AmeriCup will be a great opportunity to accelerate the growth of the game in our region”.
Alves added: “We are excited to bring the 3 × 3 AmeriCup to Miami, not only because Miami is where we have our regional headquarters, but most importantly, the city encompasses all the main features of our game: urban, iconic, vibrant, international and multicultural ”.
Also according to Vaunt’s statement, the announcement of this cooperation is just the beginning of several experiences, actions and championships that will be carried out this year.
