Canadian sports communicator Rod Black will join NorthStar Gaming as host and brand ambassador for NorthStar Bets.
With a career spent primarily at Bell Media, where he was a play-by-play advertiser for the CFL, Toronto Blue Jays and host of the Toronto Raptors broadcasts, Black is considered one of the most recognized and trusted names in Canadian sports communications.
He has commented and provided play-by-play for a wide range of events, including The Masters, RBC Canadian Open and five Olympic Games. In recognition of his accomplishments, Black received the ‘Sports Media Canada Award for Outstanding Sports Broadcaster’ and performs as a five-time Gemini Award nominee in the ‘Canada’s Best Sportscaste’ category.
Black commented, “It’s an exciting time for fans of the sport across Ontario and I look forward to introducing them to the NorthStar Bets brand and platform.”

Representing NorthStar Gaming Bets, Black will serve as a brand ambassador. He will also offer sports commentary and act as a host on the platform’s social channels and platform content.
