DraftKings has just expanded the company’s roster of media personalities in partnership with Jared Carrabis. Writer, blogger, radio host and Boston Red Sox fan, DraftKings is looking to leverage Carrabis’ baseball knowledge in a series of content collaborations.

Starting today on the company’s YouTube channel, DraftKings will debut two new podcasts, titled “Baseball is Dead” and “Jared Carrabis”, where he will deliver a number of important and controversial baseball debates, including the latest news from his team.

“Baseball is Dead” will focus on Major League Baseball (MLB) and, in DraftKings’ own words, is “designed to jumpstart the sport and ‘laugh’ in the face of those who prematurely called baseball ‘dead'”.

Carrabis will host this podcast, featuring appearances by former MLB pitcher and Oakland Athletics analyst Dallas Braden.

Meanwhile, his eponymous podcast, the “Jared Carrabis Podcast,” will highlight the player’s passion for baseball, and in particular his love for the Red Sox.

“I’m excited to bring my deep passion for baseball and sports betting to DraftKings,” said Jared Carrabis.

“Not only do we share Boston roots, we also share the same vision of delivering exciting content to sports fans everywhere. I can’t wait for fans to see what we have planned for this year’s MLB season,” added Carrabis.

The addition of Carrabis will grow DraftKings’ existing lineup of content, which includes collaborations such as “Mystery Crate” with Mike Ryan, Bill Gil, Roy Bellamy and Chris Cote, as well as “Montgomery and Co.” with Renee Montgomery and the new show “Basketball Illuminati” with Amin Elhassan and Tom Haberstroh.

Stacie McCollum, Vice President of Programming at DraftKings, said, “We are thrilled to add Jared Carrabis to our growing portfolio of content creators.” He brings credibility as an expert on the subject while playing an authentic tone that resonates with fans of the sport.”

“We continue to expand the DraftKings content experience by building a platform for independent voices and emerging talent like Carrabis,” McCollum concluded.
